Re: Pluto TX 'Bursting'
Mike,
If you increase the buffer size to the maximum do you still get a burst, if so does it correspond to the buffer length?
Sadly no errors in the logfile.

Ah,
Thanks. Really looks like the API is not returning any errors, this has to be their driver.

Re: Pluto TX 'Bursting'
Hi,
With USB2 - you are running in full duplex. Can you try this in half duplex please?
I’m only seeing some receive errors, I want to isolate this. So let’s try half duplex, let me know

Were you getting the bursting effect on all of the logfiles you attached?

Hi,
How are you detecting the bursting effect – with a separate receiver?

Re: Pluto TX 'Bursting'
Simon,
2 logs attached. They are both at 1.5 MHz on the same machine. The USB3 port log has glitches in the transmit stream, but no actual bursts (on/off). The USB 2 log has the bursts.
Hope this

Simon,
Would you like a debug with Mcafee uninstalled and windows defender FW on ? It will take a while to get rid of mcafee.

Adrian

Re: Pluto TX 'Bursting'
Simon, with 3.06 and my PlutoSDR I was getting the bursting at the lowest bandwidths. Changing the buffer just resulted in different lengths of bursts. This was on an old AMD laptop and brand new HP

Try attenuating the input to the dongle with hardware.

Pluto TX 'Bursting'
Hi All,
If you have the Pluto ‘bursting’ at lower bandwidths (< 2MHz) during TX please run Debug View https://www.sdr-radio.com/Support/Diagnostics#DebugView and transmit. I’m hoping there
