Re: Cached data
Will there be a option beyond 30 seconds of I/Q cache? Perhaps there is a way to fill the entire cache and then overate the old stuff.
Also would be great if there is a way to specify a custom size

Re: RDS decoding
Another factor is the signal level of the RDS signal. It sees to vary all over the place. Sometimes it requires an ultra strong signal to a decode.
No idea why there isn't a recommended level for it

Re: Lost cat control to external radio
I am thinking in terms of communications between OmniRig and SDRC. Remember that you cannot open a com port and share it with multiple applications. So you cannot connect SDRC to the radio's

Re: RDS decoding
RDS decoding in Console is very good but always check reception a few times from recordings, I've lost count of the times I've played back a short section of reception and the PI code has popped up

Re: Lost cat control to external radio
With com0com or equivalent you get virtual cables that have two ends. If you try to open COM7 in SDRC and in OmniRig it's not going to work. Find the other end of COM7's virtual cable and

SDRC is not designed to support side-by-side installations. A proper such design would not use the same registry and %apdata% folders for storing settings, thus making them truly independent

Re: Remaining VAC Issue
I found the problem. The command 'Buffers' has been replace with 'BufferParts'. Any existing batch files need to be edited with this change.
Audio using SDR Console now sounds good.

Re: Remaining VAC Issue
Last night, I updated VAC from 4.15 to 4.67.
When I use my batch files (one file per VAC Line) to start Audio Repeater, I receive the error message as shown in an attached picture. This picture shows

Re: Remaining VAC Issue
Maybe it does help setting the cables to a fixed 48 k sampling speed?!? (just a shoot in the dark)

Re: Cached data
Yes,
the maximum cache size is 480MB, I'll increase this to the greater of 480MB and 1/8 installed RAM, so if you have 8GB it'll be 1GB, if you have 16GB it'll be 2GB etc.
