Re: Com port pickle
Without looking too hard I see a duplicate COM1 which is most odd as this is usually the legacy port on the motherboard.
I would correctly deinstall all virtual serial port software, check available

Another useful tool is ComNameArbiterTool:
https://www.uwe-sieber.de/misc_tools_e.html
It deals with COM Ports (both real and virtual).

I have always used VSP Manager. Has worked flawlessly for me. Just be aware needs to run in "compatibility mode" but it's fine. See SImon's info:

As this group has a lot of computer savvy people, I hope that you don’t mind me asking a general PC question.
I have a lot of COM ports in use, and I just added the FDM-DUO and I need to use

Re: Afedri AFE822X dual channel Diversity/phasing support?
Well,
I do have one. I'd have to put up a pair of loop antennas in the garden for testing. As well as Afedri there's the SDRplay DUO. It's interesting, that's all I can say at the moment.

Compared to some I'm a mere child, but the clock is ticking. Been reading some pension documents I signed 40 years ago - they pay out this year! Also been very distracted by losing my dog

Simon, I'm also using AFEDRI 822X for EME. Would appreciate very much to see phasing in SDR Console.
But, take your time, I know you have also other priorities.
