If it’s on a Pi then it’ll be running the SDR# SpyServer I assume, so follow the SpyServer installation, then in Console:

Software wouldn’t allow me to enter any number in the port box. It defaults to 0, so when I placed the cursor there and backspaced so I could enter 50101, I got the error as posted above.

Not a bug. The port must be known before you can login. That is basic TCP.

Signifies nothing. Firewalls will usually ignore and drop traceroute and ping packets.

Recently I finished up my project to link up my Kenwood TS-590S with SDR Console. I added a buffer Amp inside the TS-590S, with a SMA panel jack on the back of the radio. This connects to my SDRPlay

The server doesn’t require a powerhouse computer, I use old W7 netbooks and recently, W10 laptops from Craigslist.
