Re: RSPdx will not start in SDRC 3.1 Build 2365

Hi,
I noticed that 3.08 was not set to automatic startup. You’ll have to bring this up with the SDRplay folks, it’s their API.

RSPdx will not start in SDRC 3.1 Build 2365
#sdruno
I've just upgraded two PC's with SDRuno version 1.41 and now SDRC doesn't want to start my RSPDx unless I first start SDRuno. It appears that the problem is that the old API v3.07 loads at the startup

Tested also with RSP2 @10MHz bandwidth?
I don't know what to think, but it's not caused by the PC or USB power supply which is still similar to your PC and with sdruno 4.1 it works perfectly.

I hear tell that some laptops do not supply full power to USB ports as a means of increasing battery life. It's a BIOS setting. A fully powered hub should be able to turn the trick,

Open the DSP Panel (where you have the frequency display, filters, modes, etc) and open the IF Display. Then put mouse cursor inside the small waterfall and use the scroll knob on mouse. Active

There isn't, in the main display.
Best to use the Receiver Pane, which does keep the tuned frequency in the middle.

Works fine with both my RSPdx and RSP 2
Suspect this may be a matter of not enough power in some PCs, I am using an Intel i7 11700K @ 3.600GHz and runs both versions without problem.

As Dale confirms, his RSPdx works too, so it seems like a strange problem with some drivers on the SDRplay RSP2 version?
Have others user with RSP2 tried, in addition to those already announced?

I do not see any option to keep the Tuned Frequency in the middle of the panadpter. Could you be more specific.

Odd,
I am sure I have a RSP2 in the cupboard, will try it tomorrow. It shouldn’t really matter which RSP I use – the API is the same.

Simon, I have a RSP2 here so I tested at 8 and 10 Mhz bandwidth. I found the same as Frank. Did not see this before as I rarely run above 8Mhz. I have attached the log files for both bandwidths. I
