Perhaps a timing issue across the net?

Hi Mike
Not sure if just me but I cannot open the attachments. I see "Bad Request" response. Wonder if it could possibly be the % character in the filenames?

Is it a valid to question the differences in the audio out of two SDR packages?

Uncertain if this helps, but it does use the FlexRadio USB Kernel driver.
Think that you'd get a lot of bang for the amount of work required, not just for Genesis, but for the FlexRadio series.

Interesting: I plugged the USB cable into another computer (Laptop), and it works fine with both USB ports connected, one with power only.
Back to the original computer (Intel NUC), same problem.

I had to delete everything in the registry for HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SDR-RADIO.com (V3)\Console\Ident0
