Answer to B: HF Aeronautical comms are all in USB, just like Marine frequencies and other commercial HF ops. VHF Aeronautical comms are all in AM, hasn't changed since Orville and Wilbur Wright.

Dave, you might want to check the "calibration" setting to make sure it is set to 0 PPM. The calibration is selected on the "Home" ribbon.
