Interference 7322 khz
Greetings,
Any thoughts as to what might be causing the interference around 7322 khz? Just hearing a hum.

Actually I am switching the software program between the native Elad S2 software and the Console program. I close out of one and open the other. There is a significant difference in signal strength

I think the issue is, when on USB or LSB, the filter section fails to show the variable bandwidth button. At least my screen does not show it. set it in AM mode for example and go to SSB and it does

Spot on. I must have had the feature turned off when I tried it. I did notice CW doesn't have this implemented. That won't bother me at all.

Thanks for the clue. I am using a Perseus and an Elad. It was the Elad that I was having this issue with. The bandwidth I selected by mistake was 300+ KHz. Upping that to 6 megs amde all the

hmmm what radio??
what bw can your sdr deliver to console??
if you (as an example) use a funcube dongel pro plus ... it only has 192 kc bw (so no wonder you only see one station)

The zoom slider is set at the bottom. Sliding it up sends the x-axis in the wrong direction.

Variable Bandwidth
I would like to thank Simon for incorporating this feature into version 3.15 for AM and BFM and some other. It is essential in many cases, especially on the broadcast band.

HF RX is not the issue. SDR-Console receives HF just fine. On par with my Ten Tec, Icoms & a Kenwood.
No NCO math or anything.
It also puts out signal on HF.
It just is not usable to TX on HF.

I can Rx Hf ( sdrangel) with a 10Meg sample rate, hardware decimation at 8 and use the hardware NCO set to -28mhz (more to get 160m) then dial in a

I have the BPFs implemented well. If you look at my transceiver setups above, you will understand that it is all ready to go. BPFs, PAs, LPFs & the such.
HF receive works great.
