The first file ( the first 2gb) was written to the SD card just fine each time. But no second file is started, as happens on local hd, to continue recording.

What was the radio’s sample rate? If saving as 16-bit samples then you’ll have to write at 4 x the sample rate (in bytes), if 32-bit then 8x, for example if you start the radio at 1 MHz
