Re: Lima-SDR with SDR-Radio ?
Ok i have now succesfully burned the 85 but cannot get it to run with SDR-Radio. There is no usb communication, sound seems to be ok.
It runs with WinradHD without any problems. Can anybody out there

Hi Steve,
It was a joke :) but the truth is that we might as well make it adjustable or have a flat,50,75uS setting. I have been simulating the demod in Matlab and it looks really flat.

Hi Pieter,
For FM broadcast there really are only 50uS and 75uS in use worldwide.
Cheers,
Steve

Simon,
We should make it flat then let the user dial in the pre-emp in steps of 1uS.

Why not? Some people use this software for activities that are not HAM. Some people DX broadcast stations. Some people use broadcast stations to check propagation. etc.

Hi Simon,
Would it not be smarter to have the WB FM demodulator with a flat response and make the de-emphasis a selectable option to suite different requirements, as wide band data

Hi,
I use already such module since some years with HRD to control homebrew antennas & rotor .
The two analog inputs with 8 bit resolution are useful to remote control rotor az/el !

Re: Antenna Switching - Remote
One thing to keep in mind with any of these USB relay boards:
Keep USB and RF grounds seperated.
Otherwise quite some CPU/USB noise may enter your SDR, caused by ground loops.
Been there, done that,

I have been using this 8 relay USB remote board from Poland (ebay seller ojtush), it is quite a bit cheaper and for my purpose, better.
