For this purpose you also have an oscillator if you have anther transmitter. Just put a dummy load on it as others have mentioned there will be plenty of RF to trouble shoot the Softrock.

BTW: in V2 I’ll add support for as many MIDI devices as you want, so you can use a combination of Steinberg (or other) devices.

Sorry to bring this egg back to discussion but what is the current better option seeing as almost all cards are now more aimed at people wanting specific sound effects in gaming or various plug-ups

I am now using the AI with version 1.5, sadly I don’t have quite enough MIDI support to make full use of this device but will add all that’s needed version 2.0.
I do recommend them however.

If you do use VAC you can still send the audio to your sound card speakers at the same time. In the source program select "virtual audio cable" out. In Vac for "wave in", choose virtual audio
