Hi Simon,
Thanks for taking the time to help me out. Hate to appear too dumb, but- What come up, for me, is a green icon that says Download, with two vertical scrolling arrow hashtags. Below that it says: 3.1 August 3rd, 2021 Release Notes 32 Bit Microsoft Dropbox Webhost 64 Bit Microsoft Dropbox Webhost BUT- everything is greyed out. Nothing is clickable (the 32-Bit and 64 Bit lettering is the only thing not greyed out in this view) What, as usual, am I missing or doing incorrectly b. I guess what I want is per your suggestion the "3.1 stable Non-Beta version" Thanks again, Bob

Hi Bob,
You can use the stable release of v3.1 (recommended) or if feeling brave there’s a beta you can try.
All downloads are on https://www.sdr-radio.com/download just scroll down nice and slowly and you’ll find the download links.
All new features & fixes in the beta are on the same page.

Downloading the 3.1 Beta Problems From Sr. Citizen ?
#sdrconsolev3
rmrrgs
Hi,
Sr. Citizen (very), so please put up with my dumb questions a bit. Undoubtedly will be more. Thanks. Presently running Version 3.1 Build 2319. Want to get back to using Console after some medical issues. My understanding is that the latest is still a Beta version. True ? a. Is this what I want (I usually try to avoid Beta's), or should I wait for the non-Beta to be issued ? When might this be ? b. Anyway, I did try to download the 3.1 latest Beta Build, but I cannot come up with anything that actually downloads the file. Could someone please give me an exact link (64 bit) for me to try out this Beta prior to the non-Beta becoming available. ? c. Is there a written Guide or doc. that describes all the changes in it ? If so, link to, please ? Thanks; as always appreciate the help, Bob

Thanks. I'm not sure if I just wasn't paying close enough attention or just waving my cursor around blindly, but this time I did see the cursor transition to the "hand" symbol when over the links. I've successfully downloaded the current version.
I'm guessing it was just operator error... :-( Jim KC3DPO

see here https://www.sdr-radio.com/download scroll down to there it says if the message is ' Msvcp140.dll not found ' then the 2019 kit must be reinstalled.
To reinstall, select a kit from the SDR-Radio.com (V3) Tools entry in the Start Menu (see image).
⚠️ Never copy missing DLLs manually, always use the Redistributable kits. ..... so uninstall then reinstall THE C++KIT !! ... not just the software but main thing is the c++ kit!! ... then you should not have that error anymore greetz sigi dg9bfc

I searched my whole hard drive and I didn't find mfc140u.dll. I am operating 64-bit Windows 10 and SDR Console 64-bit. According to https://www.techidence.com/how-to-fix-mfc140u-dll-is-missing-on-windows-10-8-and-7/ "Like most DLL library errors, the MFC140u.dll error is related to the legacy library set of Visual Studio C++, a program that provides Windows with the tools necessary to run certain graphics programs." You might try running sfc /scannow from an Administrative command prompt. This will check that all system files are present. Check online to see if any options should be selected. That is about all I can think of until Simon is available. Regards, Dale WB8CJW

System Error Message Help, Please . . . .
Hello Simon, et. al.,
Up to now, I have been running the new v3.1 without issue for my Perseus, WinRadio Excalibur, and Elad FDM-S2. Love the interface! I am operating in a Win 10 environment. Then today, strangely, I went to launch Console and I unexpectedly received this error message: "The code execution cannot proceed because mfc140u.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." I tried re-installing twice - after deleting whatever had preceded it and I still get the same system error message. I looked in the directory and could not find the .dll in question. Any assistance in fixing this issue would be greatly appreciated! And apologies in advance if this has come up before in this group. Appreciate the help and Thank You for all you do for DXers everywhere! Warm Regards, Stephanie Battaglino Palm Desert, CA
