The plot thickens... We're not in Kansas anymore!
Managed to take a screenshot before TeamViewer kicked me out of the 'Connections' tab:

Re: To the user of my Superstation Servers who has an IP address from Scranton, KS…
I'd ;like to update the ones that running old firmware, but SDRSharp puts me in a loop asking me to install " .NET". Which I did, but still asks for .NET to be installed when attempting to run SDRSharp. (Sigh)
Thanks to TeamViewer thinking I'm a commercial user, I now have to go to each site and repair the damage done by this user! 73 Kriss KA1GJU

It appears to be stuck along the top. I can detach it by 'Floating' it but 'Docking' puts it back here. MTIA Regards Geoff

I wonder whether it’s USB? I used to see this myself but no longer. I would like to find out what it is.
As a side note, are the Airspys using the latest firmware?

You are locking up my servers so NOBODY can use them. I need to know what you are doing to make this happen and pass it along to Simon. Guest users only have 1 hr per session, so now I have to reset the servers… if the laptop responds to TeamViewer. 🙄 73 Kriss KA1GJU

Hi Simon,
I did say my RSPdx opened @ 10MHz but not my RSP1A which only works at 8MHz. I was only adding a comment to the thread, I didn't mean to confuse more. John

Re: Question about doppler correction and my IC-705 - doppler correction not working properly
Mark,
I'm using IC-705 as TX with SDR-Console (Airspy as SDR) and do not have any problem with doppler correction. It is rock solid and I have used FT4 on satellites with high doppler without any problem. So it is hard to see what the problem can be for your setup. Regarding your question about adjust the base transmit frequency: you do not have that function in SDR Console, that is correct. I'm working on software based VFO controller for both RX VFO and TX VFO in the satellite external radio. Initial tests seems very promising. I will update the following post when I'm done. //Lars SM0TGU

John,
The SDRplay software structure is such that it may well be independent of the radio. There’s a service which runs in the background and connects to the radios, the API talks to this service, this architecture hasn’t changes between 3.07 and 3.08 and I doubt it’ll change in the future.
Now it could well be a bug on my side but 10MHz does work with my RSPdx so I am a bit confused.

Just out of interest I tried this on my RSP1A and got the same problem. Opens @ 8MHz but doesn't work if selecting 10MHz. I then tried this on my RSPdx which opened @ 10MHz with no problem. -- - + - + -

Not sure about the architecture of the RSP2, but maybe it's similar to the 1A ? 73 John

Re: RFI from mains ethernet adaptors
FWIW, here in Canada, I have opened up switching supplies and found spots on the circuit board where components were missing. I've long suspected that these may have been filter components which were included in a device when submitted for testing and approval prior to sale, and left out for cost savings once approved No proof...just suspicion.. 73 Brent VE3CUS

I have made an AutoHotKey script that actually solves this problem. I will write a short post about this shortly and publish the script on AMSAT-SM website.

Unified Remote for controlling SDR Console
Hello,
I have just tested the free version for Android and the "Scroll Wheel" remote works very good controlling the VFO. No need to connect an external VFO knob. Is anyone using Unified Remote for controlling SDR Console, like for VFO and shortcuts? And maybe has a made a custom remote? https://www.unifiedremote.com/ /Lars SM0TGU

Re: RFI from mains ethernet adaptors
Hi Kriss This scan is from our Hotpoint washing machine in standby which plays musical notes on a portable radio. Not the usual mush. The scan in green is the washing machine, 4MHz plus minus 1MHz. Yellow 30 feet away. Because the mains plug is behind the thing it will need an extension lead so I can turn it off from standby. Allan G3PIY From:

HI Simon
Learned about the new API? If it helps, I did a quick test on a Probook6560b PC with I5 and 16MB ram ... It's not a performing PC but it should be more than enough to handle SDRplay.
I installed SDRconsole and Sdrplay RSP2 API, and even here at @ 10MHz BW it doesn't work.
Without any problems with all other bandwidths from 0.500 to 8MHz.
It's not that I use @ 10MHz so much also because the quality of the RSP2 degrades .... but it was still useful for various searches.
After the test I uninstalled all the RSP2 and I forgot to save the "LOG", sorry ... in any case the same thing as on the big PC. Maybe I could try going back to API 3.07 to check but I don't know where to copy it or how to do it ... 73
