Bob, Mine was also 1.1, downloaded 10min before answering your query. It came from one of Simon’s other domains rather that SDR-Radio. Looks like I’m the one behind the curve! Tom G6PZZ

Larry, My point was that I didn’t want to use CSV. I am happier working directly in Excel as I can move columns around and sort in many ways to help deduplicate etc. before it gets seen by SDRC. 73 Tom G6PZZ

Maybe I can put a word in for SWL’s and have things like LW, MW 49m, 31m bands etc. and aeronautical and maritime mobile, because I’m sure Simon needs more work. This could be catered for by the innumerable online frequency lists and databases. I keep my lists in XLSX rather than CSV so perhaps that as an import option perhaps? Merge import functions to be the same on SDRC and SWM, or even to use the same source list, if I’m making myself clear?

That's where 12' came from. The room is 13' wide on
the North end. ('bout 10 meters long and unnecessarily full of
computer and sound junk, At one time the Universal Studios
Waterworld stunt show audio was setup in there with sets of
speakers laid out about the right places. Don't ask. It's
frustrating.)

I've been thinking of a 65" MiniLED screen. Of
course, that presents Simon with a challenge. Make it all work
with 10 bit RGB video.
toggle quoted messageShow quoted text
An artifact of 1080 screens is that the ideal viewing distance is about the width of the screen. Closer than that the picture starts to pixelate. For most 1080 monitors this puts them rather close to you straining your eyes. It also means that a 2160 monitor should be half it's width away. With my LG monitor (beautiful beastie) that means the optimum viewing distance is all of 19". That is WAY too close. .With a 65" screen that distance grows to a touch less than 30" which is more comfortable and closer to what I find comfortable for other reasons. (55" ideal viewing is about 24". (Um, for a 12' wide projection screen the best viewing distance is about 6'. Gee, I get dangerous when I start thinking this way. Anybody know of a QHD projection screen or do I have to go look at outdoor signage?) {^_-}

Re: Followup Question Please: Re: How To Install Station List, Please? For Bob S. or anyone Re: Simon's World Map v1.1
Hi Bob,
It looks like you Imported the large Station List (SimonsWorldMap-Stations_AOKI_EIBI_HFCC_Export_20210806_230628.xml). That list by default doesn't have any of the Stations selected. Go back into the Station List and click the Show box next to the Stations you want to see on the Map. Also, with the large database -- the Menu Icons on the top of the map get compressed and look as they do in your picture. To get back to the Config page with the Import option see attached. Also, the import replaces the database, it doesn't append to the old one. Let me know if you want to go back to the original list. Barry WB2ZXJ

Re: Latency with RSPduo
#rspduo
Hi
For your info..i use sdrc with elad duo for panadapter AND a phaser for noise..virtually no/ none delay..its instant.. So it can be done.. The pc is nothing special. I7 cuda visual card..i look at 192khz at a time..ie if on 160m then can see 1.8-1.92mhz.. Using sdr visual display for the phaser is sooooo good..takes seconds to remove the smpsu noise. From above I suspect you can work out i know zero about pc’s.but it just works.. Rig is ftdx3000.. Simon G0zen ( not sdrc Simon!)
