NP Ronald. Persevere. SDRC is a great companion to the HL2!

Come back here if you need more help with anything but a screenshot is always useful for diagnosing problems. I think we woudl have got you up and running much faster if you had posted one here at the start.

Just to say the official support forum is as I mentioned on Hermes Lite group, but this sort of runs in parallel with it as more of a chat forum than a support forum. The other one is where you need to be to post bug reports etc. because they may not necessarily get seen by Simon (the program author) on this one.

My both Pluto has fw 32. I have not changed the fw version after purchase.

I hope so - checked by software and hardware (see my first message).

Thanks for your advices.
I have two ADALM Pluto - Pluto1 (modded for an external reference) and Pluto2 (new, without any modification).
Please find two logs files attached from these two devices.
Pluto2 works well with SDRC and Pluto1 doesn't work with SDRC after modification.
Pluto1 has been purchased in China and Pluto2 - in USA one month later.

I don't have SDRAngel yet to compare with SDRC.

It looks like he's getting information back from the Pluto. But something in the information leads the software to ignore the returns. Altered firmware could cause that. It appears that two "contexts" are found and neither one is valid. That might be an issue for the Pluto forums. The contexts contain a suspicious number of zeros. So something is wrong with that Pluto. Have you tried it on SDRAngel or one of the other tools out there for comparison?

I tried to pass the radio definition but no success.

Radio Definition -> Search "Pluto SDR " -> got answer "No PlutoSDR" radio were found".

This modified Pluto radio worked well with SDRС before modification.

My second non-modified Pluto radio works well now with the same SDRC.

Thanks for your reply.
Pluto software modification has been made according to  https://tbspace.de/plutosdrclockinput.html .
Please find the picture attached.
Hardware modification - only connection of RF cable to U.FL connector "CLK_IN" on Pluto board.
External reference 25 Mhz signal is on XTAL pin of AD9363 with the correct amplitude 0.6V (p-p) as recommended.
Internal 40 MHz TCXO is disabled.

Do both your Plutos have the same firmware or has one been installed with something different? Simon might be able to read the log better than I can. It MAY have enough information. About here:
12:14:23.365: Radio PlutoSDR> Autodetect
12:14:23.366: Radio PlutoSDR>   Version ....: 0.21 565bf68

It looks like he's getting information back from the Pluto. But something in the information leads the software to ignore the returns. Altered firmware could cause that. It appears that two "contexts" are found and neither one is valid. That might be an issue for the Pluto forums. The contexts contain a suspicious number of zeros. So something is wrong with that Pluto. Have you tried it on SDRAngel or one of the other tools out there for comparison?

This modified Pluto radio worked well with SDRС before modification.

My second non-modified Pluto radio works well now with the same SDRC.
Attached files: SDRC log and Definition reply for modified radio.

If you modded Pluto to use an external frequency source then the source must be enabled and working, otherwise Pluto no worky.

What is the matter with understanding the concept of "full size image showing all settings you can manage?" You trimmed off enough information there that understanding what you mean is impossible.

What's the easiest way to have the Waterfall scale and the Spectrum scale be sync'd ?
(same values showing on waterfall as the Spectrum, right above)

Hi Bob

It's the scale in the middle of the screen (circled in my picture) that applies to both spectrum and waterfall. Don't get confused with the scale at the bottom of the screen, which shows a representation of what "window" the main spectrum/waterfall display is showing. In that display (the bottom one) the sliding transparent rectangle is showing the span of what is being displayed in the spectrum above.
