Time and signal strength are already displayed in a regular waterfall, as is frequency, which is what I assume you mean by 'position of a signal'. Ken Alexander VE3HLS So Phisai, Thailand (OK18rc)

Re: Using Line-1 out of SDR-Console to WSJTx Audio In
What is the CPU load? When I run both SDR Console & WSJT-X, I run around 40% on my PC with VAC. I generally don't have issues unless I get above 60% CPU. This behavior also parallels my using DReaM to decode Radio Marti with SDR Console and VAC.

Using Line-1 out of SDR-Console to WSJTx Audio In
If I use the Line-1 VAC output of SDR-Console to the Audio in of WSJTx RC4, I always get delays over 1 second and sometimes 2.5 .
But if I use the Audio Out Codec of the radio to the same WSJTx, then all the dT times are 0.0 to 0.2 seconds. Is this normal and can it be corrected? I included a screenshot of what I mean. -- Bob KD7YZ

oh you see no useful info in a 3d view?? hmm i see the time and strength and position of a signal and ... i am sure simon will make it selectable (on off) when he adds that to sdr console greetz sigi dg9bfc ps i just talked to him on the sat and he told me that it at
least does not eat up much cpu power :-) Am 02.05.2021 um 16:13 schrieb Ken

My feeble brain can't extract anything useful out of that. I hope you keep the 'traditional' FFT spectrum and waterfall displays. 73, Ken Alexander VE3HLS So Phisai, Thailand (OK18rc)

Hi Simon,
interesting. I am sure there was a lot of work behind the scene to get to this point.
I am still not sure about the practical value in operations but maybe one needs to use it and then recognize the benefits.
Kind regards

Very nice! It is looking fantastic. This is going to look great, I
can only imagine what it will look like integrated into
SDRConsole.

Hi,
There’s not much I can do – the Andrus just pretends to be a NetSDR. Maybe time for a replacement – SDRplay / Airspy / Winradio…

About the time the Andrus failed I was examining the code associated with control of the Andrus to see if I could identify how to switch from Aerial A to Aerial B. I wonder if I closed a text reader and inadvertently changed the code. This may have been a coincidence. I re-installed an earlier version of the console but it may be possible the file wasn’t corrected.. if indeed I changed it? I have a second computer with the console installed so I might try that before I proceed.
After I got the Andrus I needed to swap the LAN chip which had gone short circuit. The new chip worked fine but I may have missed fully soldering all of its pins. I guess the LAN chip receives the data from the receiver but does that connection share control data? If control from the console is working correctly then that would disprove that idea.
Another possibility is lightning has damaged the front end (Channel A) which is an LMH6514 chip. Is it possible to change to Channel B input to check this hypothesis? Otherwise, if the LMH6514 is indeed dead would the processor still read noise and drive the console? Allan From: main@SDR-Radio.groups.io [mailto:main@SDR-Radio.groups.io] On Behalf Of Simon Brown

Re: V3 frequency change via scroll wheel?
Negative. If I understand your question correctly.
Scroll wheel tuning only active while actively scrolling. Tuning occurs in the steps set in the Mode panel (v3.0.26? and later) of the DSP panel or under Tools, Options, Tuning. Not a hold down and continuous frequency change button. 73 Kriss KA1GJU
