Re: Any logbooks available other than Ham Radio Delux?

Jim Smith G0OFE
LOG4OM is good as others have mentioned. One
drawback is that if you're a VHF grid chaser, tracking support
for that is still rather poor. Best logging program in that
respect by far is VQLog... while not free, the cost is very
modest (20 euros for 2 years of updates) but EA6VQ is a big vhf
man. Logger32 is excellent all round, my personal favourite.. I use that, and VQLog for VHF.. importing logs from the latter to the former is a very simple matter. Each logging program has different strengths
and features.. best bet is to try them all and see which one
suts you best. The beauty is that ADIF allows you to export and
import logs between most (if not all) of them easily. ================================ Need help with SDR Console? “Swisslog” is quite good and it supports Omnirig so SDRconsole syncs with it no problem - it also supports and syncs with WSJT so easy to log all those Ft8 contacts !

com0com works great. You just have to check off the "use Ports class" in the com0com setup tool. On 20201105 09:26:48, Hank Tyler wrote:

Re: Missing VCRUNTIME14.dll
Hello Paul,
My two W7 Netbooks had a similar issue, the mfc140u.dll was missing when I upgraded to 3.0.25 Since it was W7, I had to open File Manager to locate the install C++ redistributables in the SDR-Radio_V3 directory. Once that was done, normal operations returned. In W10, it’s right there as published in the image per Simon’s suggestion above using the start button. 73 Kriss KA1GJU Once
