Re: antenna splitter ?

Have you considered what a limiter connected to an antenna would actually do? (It certainly would get your repeater, if you had one, from any repeater site I know.)

The big need for me is caused by the 25-60w output from my 2/70cm Collinear which is 2' away from my Satellite rx antenna on 145.9. I also have a KW output 6m amp and the 6m LFA Yagi is about 4' away, BUT, that is taken care of by a set of back to back 2m/70cm duplexers in the shack giving > 60 dB of additional isolation. Also have KW out on HF to wire antennas suspended about 10' below the satellite antennas.

The 6M, 2M collinear and the Satellite antennas are all fed with 1/2" hardline, so there isn't a lot of loss to reduce that 25 to 60 watts of RF on 2m APRS from getting into the satellite antenna only 2' away.

Maybe if you expand the drawing beyond what you show it would make sense. At the

to RX-ANT-IN for it to work correctly? Remember, I do not have a 7600. All I
have is your (incomplete?) description below to work from.

Any chance we can get 20 kHz steps added to that list. 20 kHz channel
spacing is used a lot in the U.S., especially California where it's used on
every amateur band from 10 meter FM through 440 MHz.

Thanks

Hi,

Many thanks. With the COVID lockdown and general apathy in ham radio this summer this is really appreciated.

Thank you, Simon, for that "Step" button on the Mode box! Saw that on the Test Group version, and have been using it nearly daily. Sending some cider and canine sustenance your way: I'm overdue.

Plugins Or Third Party Apps ? #sdr-consolev3

Hello,

Am familiar with Jeff's Frequency Manager (without the Scanner), and CSVUserListBrowser, but are there
any other third-party apps, or plugins, that mesh with Console and are worth looking at ?

Quick Access Toolbar

Steve Jerome

Is it possible to add ‘Modes’ to the Quick access toolbar, i.e. USB, LSB etc.  If so, I can’t find the ‘buttons’ !

Having to use the DSP panel to do this at the moment and a quick click on the toolbar would be ideal, as I prefer not to have the the DSP panel displayed.

Many thanks,

Steve

Sorry for multiple replies through the email system that can be deleted.

With at least a somewhat fresher mind this morning :-)

I thought back through what I had done recently and arrived at the issue,
I had enabled the CW Skimmer when I started poking around with that
program the other day. That's what had created the "extra" signals I was receiving,
once I disabled CW Skimmer it went away.

Thanks for help!

Previous Reply:

It is the old original SDR Play 1.

OK. I went back ( with fresh eyeballs and mind this morning ) based on what you

asked Alan and made sure I didn't have two receivers...I killed the one receiver I have,

but there was still one "behind" it and that's where the high-pitched
background signals are coming from, yet the dsp pane says No Receivers!

So that's what I'm hearing/seeing and how do I get rid of what I've created (somehow). :-)

Thanks!

Re: SDR Console with Ettus Restarci USRP B210 #ettusb210

Erik. M0MWF

Hi,

I have both used (and loved) my Chinesium B210 on SDR Console.

It actually covers about 26MHz through to 6GHz.

The 850GBP OXCO from Ettus also has a Chinesium equivelent, and is <100 on Fleabay just now.. Mine cost nearly double that two years ago. You can run the device (in Rx) with the OXCO installed over a single USB's worth of current. Get one of those Y-USB adapters so you can supply it with the current of two USB ports, or use the supplied 6v PSU. The GPS antenna is ~5 GBP too.

Consider getting it from Ettus if you can afford it - you'll get a warranty. The NI / Ettus warranty both picks up and delivers.

Enjoy.

It works with SDR# as well. There's a plug-in you can add.

Love it.

I suppose it draws power which is good if that is the only performance that matters to you. As for meeting specifications? I'd not take that bet to Las Vegas.

It is very likely a pirated cheap Chinese knockoff. But you probably had that figured out already.

Besides Ettus, I have seen on AliExpress  a board almost identical.
Are the boards the same produced by the same manufacturer?
