Is / has anyone used SDR Console for the reception and recording of the Meteor M-N2 weather satellites?
=========================

Fred,

A friend has used SDR Uno, but I've used SDR# and my reception is now completely automated:

http://happysat.nl/Setup_Meteor/Setup.html

It's a little complicated but follow the steps as listed. I have a small LRPT Image Processor which can add overlays to the processed images. It's free:

Cheers,
David

Hi Simon,

Yes I am using the defaults for the satellite display. I wasn't able to turn it ON atleast once to change any settings etc.. This happens in 2 PCs both on win 7 2 bit. Same with one laptop win7 64bit.

I am happy to work with you and run any debug captures for you. Please let me know how you want this to be done.

Hi Simon.
Since updating W10 to the latest and also adding the q0-100 mod using mixw V 2.19 ..
I use sstv mode and in M1 mode I get a TX to approx 3/4 down the tx screen and the sdr console freezes and my i7 pc locks up.
Kuhne for uplink and Lime mini usb for downlink.
Now, where does the problem likely lie???? Win10 / MixW / SDR console.
This only happens since the update, perfect before.
help please es 73 de Mike G3PGA

Hello, I just upgraded to version 3.0.21.  I have "external radio" checked, omni-rig working but when I open the DSP panel there is no longer a tracking pane.  I have had this working for at least 3 years until this update.

Does anyone know what I am missing?

Thanks,
Art - W1AJT

Dear friends,

I need your help resolving my problem. I use a Pluto SDR with SDR console V3.0.21. Whenever I start the Satellite module, a screen pops up for 1 second and then it disappears. I think that's the 'Satellite' module's interface. Then a 'Please wait' small dialog box comes for few minutes and then a crash report screen comes (attached).

I ran SDR console in Administrator mode . Installed in C:\program files and D:\  root location alternatively but no successes. Further I installed SDR console V3.0.20 and .17 also in three computers here and the same problem happens. Two PCs running Win7 32 bit. One laptop Win32 64bit.

Some years ago I took a  week Antarctic voyage on and old converted Icebreaker. The radio officer was lamenting that that was his last voyage as all of the old radio gear was being removed. Along with him.  All of the radio ops in the area had a morning net just to know who was where and such.  He felt that it was a great loss. Progress. N0UU

Hi Klaus,

Thanks a lot to spend some time on the problem.

I have downloaded the suite but I'm stuck at the install : MSVCP140 and VCRUNTIME.dll are missing.

Looking to this frequent problem, I installed the Visual C++ 2015 but without any result.

The problem is well known and I did not find out a solution at this time.

By the way,I can confirm my Lime firmware version coupled to the last Console software does not work ,because,I have an old Console version installed on an other PC (3.17) and it works perfectly both inRx and Tx.

Unfortunaltly,I plan to use an orther PC,so I have to install the Console software on this new PC. I tried to find out the 3.17 version but in vain; only the 3.18 is available and it does not work with my Lime Mini.

That's the present situation.

Gérard / F6EHJ

Hello All,

This is part 1 of a video series on building a 60 KHz WWVB ferrite loop antenna.
Couple it to the low noise Discovery and you have got a nice WWVB receiving system
