Hi Simon,

I too have a HL2, build 8. Trouble is, I work away from home and won't be
actually in front of my HL2 till Saturday... And from what I understand over
on the HL group, you might be intending to release before that.

Happy to test over the weekend if it fits with your scehdule. Really pleased
with RX on the HL2 and looking forward to using SDRC to transmit!

Hi Simon,
I thought my issue was solved but I am still having a problem creating 1 GB files. Last night I created three recording schedules via the scheduler. All three recordings were set up identical other than the time start. Recordings 1 and 3 created multiple 1GB files as requested. Recording 2 created a 5Gb file in RF64 format which is unusable for my needs. This happened before and I just figured I forgot to check the RF64 box, that is always checked by default,  but I am sure the RF64 box was unchecked in all three recording schedules. I am attaching two images for you to see.

Thank you Simon,
Larry

Many thanks for confirming Dave, atleast now I know it's not only me with this problem.

@Simon, I have something for the 3.0.14 buglist to become fixed for next release :-)

I can't recall seeing any other messages about this, but you are correct: 3.0.14 does not start with Tuner 2 selected.  As far as I can see, the Tuner 1 - Stop - Start - Tuner 2 sequence is the only way to get Tuner 2 working at the moment.

Hopefully, Simon will get this working properly again in the next release, as it was working fine previously.

Regards,
Dave

Workaround is to first select "Tuner-1" and after that do a STOP and START before SDR Console runs fine again on tuner-2.  Everytime I stop the radio when it was on tuner-2 and pressing start, same story, it does not work and need to replay the previsouly mentioned procedure again.  For me this is a kind of annoying as I do need the "Tuner-2" port for the BIAS-T feed of the LNA...
Does anybody know if there is a fix for this, any input on this topic is very welcome. (Latest SDR Play API installed)

Hello,
I have connected a "SDRPlay RSP1A" to the TS480Sat. I pick up the signals at the PIN CN152 in the transeiver (i.e. with an IF center frequency of 73,096,500 MHz).

The interaction with the HDSDR program and OmniRig also works quite well.

But I would like to work with the program "SDR Console V3" because I like it a lot better.

Where can I set an IF frequency in the "SDR Concole V3" program?
2 How can I control the transeiver with "SDR Console V3"?

I can only select the "SDRPlay RSP1A" as input, but without further settings.

I found a video on the net where exactly this interaction of "TS480Sat", "SDRPlay RSP1A" and "SDR Console" can be seen (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vaf7iBT5B7Y).
It also shows the TS480Sat displays in the SDR program (rudimentary, but sufficient).
Who can give me some hints on how to do this?

I would be happy about tips.

Can you please implement AGC, Gain, LNA... on airspyHF+ server like it is on USB ?

Hi SImon,

I miss these settings on SDR console while connected to the AirspyHF server.

I have another question for my understanding : who is responsible for the IQ balance in this configuration ? SDR-console or the Airspy server ?

Thanks a lot, 73's

AIRSPYHF_SET_HF_ATT = 12,

Some pix of the audio settings...

The Audio Playback Buffering settings seem to work best at Buffer size X2, Bufer Fill Maximum, which is blue "Defaults" setting.

Been having to do the same for over a year.
Even with relatively new I5 and I7 W10 HP Laptops and an I7 desktop I get stuttering on the servers of mine within the all wired LAN. I have to tune the SDR first, then go to my browser for a while and do stuff. Then and ONLY then I can come back to SDRC and use it like it should be used... The application in an open window and roam the bands while being able to see and hear the signals properly.
Sometimes in only a few minutes of browsing, other times +10 minutes. Operating at 30 kHz bandwidth seems to stutter worse than operating the AirSpy at 768 kHz. Which doesn't make sense at all.

Then there's the SDR play on a little Atom processor powered Netbook, way out in the repeater shed at +300' away (Ethernet switch at ~200' to break the limitations of maximum CAT6 length. It works FLAWLESSLY within my own LAN on 30 thru 1 MHz bandwidth! Go figure? The SDRPlay series have always behaved properly on a server. The SDR-iq's usually stutter for short period then clear up. The Airspy's were the hardest, wouldn't operate w/o stutter unless on an I3 or higher W7 laptop. As I mentioned before, I'm running all W10 I5 and I7 on the servers with an Airspy.

I just updated drivers on the I5 HP laptop for the Realtek HD Audio, no change.
Tried the network adapter, but W10 said they were still good, no new drivers.

(Sigh)

But the servers work fine from outside my LAN... or so I'm told. I get emails from users thanking me for the use of the many RXR's available.

I know this thread is getting a little age on it., but it came up in a search I performed for the word "stutter". I've been working to be able to connect to my server from my HP Laptop. I'm running windows 10 , 8 gigs of memory and an i7 processor. I've went through and updated any driver that was old. I only had one that was out of date. It didn't resolve the issue. Tonight I opened the program tpost that o the normal stuttering.  I read the post about opening a Google browser behind v3. It worked! not one problem with the stutter even over WiFi. Maybe this will lend support to resolution of the issue. Or at least to support results of the short term workaround.
