W10 indeed. W10-64 Pro to be exact.  Fyi I have the latest build (1903) on all my SDR PCs now, No issues with any of my SDR hardware (I have a few) or software (I have a few) except one eternal beta for a hardware that SDR Console doesn't support anyway.

Hi All,

My big server's PSU has stopped working, so I am without normal email access for 36 hours or so. This has also taken down the V3 On-Air server and my V3 servers.

There's no point on complaining - I can't hear you :) .

Hello all,  Thank you Sigi to show me how to use the Mute receiver during transmit option, it is exactly what I was looking for but was too stupid to make it work !!!

Simon problem solved , thank you again for this great software .

Hello all,  got no answer on my previous mail , maybe I was not giving enough details.

When operating Oscar 100 in SSB with the PLUTO  it is convenient to be in full-Duplex  to hear your own signal to verify that you are transmiting on the right frequency but that being done during the QSO  it is not very easy to talk and  hear at the same time on your headphones your signal  from the satellitte with some delay .  It would be nice to have an easy access option that would mute the RX audio on the headphone  when TXing being in Full-Duplex mode . One option is to be in half -Duplex but it seeems that in that case the 10 GHz receiver is switched off and you loose the beacon tracking frequency advantage . Maybe such an option exist and I have not found it . The Mute receiver during transmit on the transmit option , pure signal does not help .

Hi Simon and List,

it's really a pity NOT to see this function implemented in all new releases !
I might undestand that there are so many other request and maybe more important on your point of view (SDR TX support, etc) but I think (and other too) that SDR-Console satellites need this function to be implemented.

Also other functions as frequency or memory scanner, just to mention a few, would be more than welcome !

Please, put this on your to-do list !

Thank you, Pietro @ hb9rxc

Need to get some quotes locally to supply assembled or source a bundle.

Just need processor, MoBo, SSD, do I reuse my Win 7 licence or go for W10?

Re: Track Radio limited to 2.1GHz

Tom M0LTE

I implemented this using the TS-2000 CAT emulation in SDR Console plus virtual serial port emulator last night- works perfectly. I can now forget about Omnirig and the Track Radio feature.

Source code and YouTube video coming soon.

If/when an API appears, I’ll change it to use that rather than CAT, since that removes the dependency on third party VSPE.

Cheers
Tom

Let me think.

The Trx is working at 10489 MHz.

Your translation tool subtract lets say 10GHz.

So 489 MHz goes to Omnirig and then in sdr console.

On this "IF" freq. the tracking in sdr console (V3.0.10 with the new feature, joke:) ) is done.

With the down-converter offset 10GHz is added to 489 MHz. The display freq. is correct and the beacon too.

But I see you are in contact to implement an API

As an end-user who partially understands the challenges of software development, I would much prefer to wait for a stable release than have the developers rush something out to meet an artificial deadline.
