another hint

i use a c band lnb for receiving 3.4 gig (has a lo of 5150 megs)

so ... with a sup 2400 ... and a c band lnb you can have a very wide band sdr setup

with low end use the sdr alne

mid area use sup2400

high area use c band lnb

....

and for 10 gig use a modded ku band lnb :-)

I already have two sup2400's. I attempted to mod the first one, it seemed to work but something was still wrong or off.  I wasn't sure if I did something wrong with the mod but I was gonna give it another shot, maybe have someone do the mod for me. I still have one virgin sup2400 if anyone is interested :)

that can be used as "normal" spectrum viewer ... or as a "wifi analyzer" (shows the 13 channels and stores max values on each channel to see the used and free channels)

I already have two sup2400's. I attempted to mod the first one, it seemed to work but something was still wrong or off.  I wasn't sure if I did something wrong with the mod but I was gonna give it another shot, maybe have someone do the mod for me. I still have one virgin sup2400 if anyone is interested :)

I think the bandwidth is actually 20Mhz, this isn’t the exact same chip as used in the B200 (my mistake).

Looks like the Lime boys and their supporters have worked out the simple hardware changes to really get the LimeSDR rocking.

Thank you for the information: I will resist the urge to uninstall in the future.
Also, making up terms like "audio crash". Not helpful, I am sorry about that.

The screenshots are attached. (#1) shows 20 meters with and signals present.
Then (#2)  I shifted via memory preset to 11670 AM.
I could have done this any way via the VFO or the radio: crash.
Then, (#3)  I shift back via memory preset to 20 meters. No change.

Then, (#4) under Radio, Stop...Select....SDR Play and I am back in business.

If instead, I go to Tools....Restart, the program restarts with a red X beside
the select radio definition for the SDR Play. That's the ONLY radio definition
I presently have.

Does this help clear us up?

  2. Please explain what you mean by Crash. Does the program stop? I have never heard of an Audio crash before.

Thanks very much for the efforts and posting 2.3 build 2754. I uninstalled previous version and did the normal install as posted to Dropbox. Everything seemed to go in smoothly, no issues. Omnirig was unaffected as I still have it tracking the radio and both directions as before. Much to my surprise, the memories remained in tact. Trying to figure that out.

 

The crashes are still occurring whether I change frequency in VFO A or B or on the radio. Crossing that 12,000.00 MHZ barrier crashes the audio. The external radio setting still tracks properly. If I stop the radio and select in again, it picks up and takes off as previously. It seems to move without issue below 12 MHZ.

 

I will work on it this weekend, perhaps I need to look at my SDR RSP1 panadapter configuration.
