Well,

Console is using 11% of the GPU's capacity which is not bad. SDR Console uses Direct-X which is a hardware-accelerated graphics system unlike GDI/GDI+ used by SDR Console v2, SDR# and SDR Uno. Someone has to pay for the higher-quality graphics, and it's the GPU. SDR++ uses OpenGL I believe, also hardware accelerated.

Using Direct-X and WASAPI were two key design decisions for SDR Console v3.

He might also check if the GPU is heavily throttling in a notebook configuration.

Hello Simon, I have a very high GPU load of 26%.
The CPU load is only 0.3%!
That's definitely not okay.

My notebook config: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-12900H 2.50 GHz, graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti laptop GPU
 
What could be the reason?
