jdow, you probably entered this conversation somewhere down the line.  In earlier emails I did indicate that I HAD to run Zadig, because W11 decided it had just the right driver, which of course was the wrong one.  I uninstalled the faulty driver using Device Manager and used Zadig to install the correct one.

No I did not copy/transfer any settings for the Laptop
