ground mod stabilizes against rebooting caused by current spikes (guess what a spike does if it is delayed with an inductor)

so i does help on usb and on lan

additionally i mounted the pluto in a metal case ... so all is bonded well

my Pluto has not been modified, except the XO has been replaced by a TCXO 0.5 ppm.
I thought the "ground mod" stabilizes USB mode. Any hints, that the mod has any effect in LAN mode?
