Yes Alan.. as soon as I googled it I got memory leak. Unfortunately the link
on the Microsoft page to the software fixing patch is broken.
My version of audiodg.exe (Windows 7 x64) is dated 12 Sept 2019 and the
thing is 123K.
I renamed this reply Audio Stuttering because I seem to have crossed over to
another problem. My SDR Console is version 3.0.20.
Why on earth would my Outlook 2003 patched to 64 bit call an audio handling
process?

Once Audiodg.exe neared the top of processes using CPU power the audio
buffer rapidly filled up and SDR stutter started.
