Thanks Simon for the clarification, and my apologies for misrepresenting that SDRC itself doesn't work on Windows 7. I hadn't completely woken up yet....

 

Nothing is obsolete if it does what I need it to. So yeah, I guess I'll stay on my old-fashioned rocking chair on the porch and listen to stations from around the world on Medium Wave using a Perseus SDR from 10 years ago, and whatever software I can find that works with it, among which is Simon's SDR-Console.
