articles are of construction details and basic use testing.

ferrite 'concentrates' flux. the FSL has an equivalent enclosed area without ferrite. an "apples and apples" test is to compute the equivalent enclosed area and then construct an air core loop with the computed enclosed area.

consider and compare the FSL design with the magnetic sensor for Schumann resonances detailed at vlf.it (that's a URL).
