Re: Shifting the null on SDR Console

Not sure if this will help you but temporarily works for me - until I zoom in or center or restart the program:
Center the desired frequency, set the zoom as you want first then move the slider to place the signal away from the spike.

I asked the same question but was ridiculed about it or to be able to set this offset so it would not be an issue at startup.

Thanks for the reply. I find no way of moving the null point (DC?) away from the centre of the window whatever I do with zoom and frequency controls. Is it possible to move it as it's inconvenient in having it stuck right in the middle!

I've searched high and low on the web and can't find an answer to what I think must be a simple issue.

I'm running SDR Console V3.0.7 with an RSP1A. I have it set up to receive QO100 and have set the offset frequency so that the display is showing the LNB receive frequency - for example 10.489 GHz.

The problem I have is trying to shift the centre null spot so that it is off the screen, or at least to the far right side. I can alter the span of the spectrum display and the centre frequency but if I want to see the whole width of the transponder I am limited to half the window width because there is this null in the middle of it. Am I asking for something inherently impossible or have I just missed a setting?
