Wow, at this point, I'd only be guessing, so here are a few possible things to check:

1) did you install only the 32-bit files (DLLs) - OR - the 64-bit files (whichever is appropriate for your OS) ??

2) do you have the RTL-SDR plugged in when you reboot the computer (I would recommend not plugging it in until after the computer is booted & you've logged in) ??

3) if you look in Device Manager when the RTL-SDR is plugged in, do you see any yellow triangles on any device that might be related to the RTL-SDR ??

4) if you remove the three additional files installed for the RTL-SDR, does the RTL SDR (USB) choice disappear ??

5) and finally, here's another possibility reported earlier by Antonio EA7HJ (I've taken the liberty to include the corrected link as well):

= = = = = = = = = = = = =    begin included snippet     = = = = = = = = = = = = =

Hi Mark

Thanks for your well written text.

I have religiously follow your instructions and my situation is still the same :(

Even with the latest console version i have the "nothing found, sorry" message when i select the RTL-SDR (USB) !

With my dongle i am presently listening a repeater at 147.12 Mhz, but with SDR# !.

I am open to any suggestion(s).

I wish you a merry christmas

Gillis
